In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Heading home to San Diego from Fresno, we yelped and found Black Bear Diner. Delicious food, generous portions but what made our visit even more memorable was our host Sarah who received us with a warm welcoming, provided excellent customer service and has a great attitude. Thank you Sarah. We’ll be back soon.....on motorcycle.
