I was in black bear for lunch on Saturday and we had the best server his name was Carlos who went way above and beyond to make our experience awesome. I will make a point to ask for his section next time i go back in.
I've been to this location, as well as others, and have never had a positive experience. However, the manager at the West Valley location, Kari, insisted I come back and give them another chance to do it right, and even went beyond that and paid for my meal. This time around, it was a completely different experience and goes to show that at least one waiter there has an understanding of excellent customer service skills. Went today for dinner and everything was great. Our server was Karla and was super sweet and nice. She made sure we had everything. The manager on duty was Star. She was very nice. When we were leaving, my wife wanted a picture with one of the bears outside. I took her picture. Then Star came out and said we both had to get one together and she took the picture for us. Best service ever!
Chris is a wonderful server he makes us feel like having dinner with family. There food is great and I like that they will make it the way I like it.
