RecommendedOur server was awesome and our food was very good. We can always count on a great homestyle meal at Black Bear Diner, no matter the location. My first experience was at the one in Sparks NV and I've been a fan ever since. I wish I had gotten our servers name, I would give her a shout out.

Visited the restaurant 2 weeks ago and thought the food and service were great. So much so I thought I would order a to go order for lunch today. I get that it was a take out order so it wasn’t going to be amazing as eating it hot at the restaurant. I got there before my schedule time and there was our food sitting on the counter already. That was my first red flag. The kid put the Saran wrapped covered boxes in the bag. I ordered 2 Tri-tip Dips with fries. Thought that was a simple enough order. The only reason we love this place is because of Mila. This location gets super crowded for weekend breakfast and the kitchen is always slammed. The food is great at a reasonable price, but many people don't want to deal with the wait. Mila makes the wait bearable. She gives excellent recommendations for our food order and checks in on us the perfect amount of times. Her personality is awesome and she ALWAYS makes us laugh.
