In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. The Shasta scramble was great and so was the large biscuit. Our server Rocky was also great. When traveling I always stop at the Black Bear if possible.
