I ordered an omelet but scrambled style and it was the best I have had. All the ingredients were spread evenly throughout the scramble and the eggs were so fluffy. Karina was cooking and now I only want my omelets from her. Everyone was so friendly and the teamwork was awesome everyone that walked by asked if I was OK and multiple people refilled my coffee.
It's so awesome to be able to order your burgers the way you want them cooked so many restaurants don't offer this. My med-rare burger basket was awesome.
Always feel so welcomed. Staff is super friendly and always look like they are having a good time. Had the hobo omelet and they knocked it out of the park.
Always a great time. Staff always seems happy.
Always a great experience. I always sit at the counter and every single person that walks by tells me good morning and asks if I need anything. The staff always look like they are having fun.
Went in for lunch and they were a little busy. I was welcomed by so many people and offered something drink by just as many. I ordered the tri tip dip deluxe and added jalapeños. Man oh man it was so good. If I had a complaint is that I had to wait to eat it because it was so hot. Food was fire and employees are the best.
Why doesn't Black Bear offer a veggie plate for lunch and dinner? It would be very easy to do, for a reasonable cost, and would definitely cause me to return. To make one's own veggie plate from your existing menu results in getting gouged royally. So why not get with the times and offer a customer friendly veggie plate with salad and cornbread, similar to your lite dinners? Please answer this one.

Charles, Thank you so much for taking the time to write and express your concerns. I will be sure to pass it along to our Culinary Department so that we can address this. We appreciate you reaching out to us and your patronage. Vickie Allgood General Manager Yuma Black Bear Diner
1st meal at black bear since our return to Yuma. Potatoes were somehow mushy rather than crispy and the gravy on the biscuit was sparse. Really tough to get a coffee refill also. I like black bear so will give you another chance but this is not the standard I have come to expect.
Never been to a place where I had to pay for food on my birthday
