Black Jack's Rum Bar & Grill was a good find. We arrived on a cold night and it was a bit too cold to relax inside. The server was very pleasant but unable to answer several questions. I actually had to get up and walk to the bar to get a few questions about happy hour and drinks from the bartender. Overall our group was happy with the place and the food. My husband, my friend and I went here for Happy Hour yesterday. I must say that I enjoyed the experience, the prices and the food and drinks that we tried. Nice atmosphere, nice vibe. The fact that you can get specialty cocktails on the happy hour for $10 is awesome. Our bartender Chris was very knowledgeable, gave great recommendations and made our drinks very well. We had a great experience at Black Jack’s Rum Bar and Grill. Our server, Larry, was an absolute character—in the best way possible. Dry sense of humor, a little salty, and clearly someone who has been in the business a long time. You could tell by the way he handled the room, cared for us, and interacted with everyone. Came down for a concert and popped in for a bite before. Fish and Chips was outstanding. Ribs were good. Really enjoyed our server, Larry. He was friendly and attentive.
Had an amazing time at this restaurant! I couldn’t believe it wasn’t packed, it’s fairly new and truly a hidden gem. I had the jerk chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely incredible.
