Black Jack's Rum Bar & Grill was a good find. We arrived on a cold night and it was a bit too cold to relax inside. The server was very pleasant but unable to answer several questions. I actually had to get up and walk to the bar to get a few questions about happy hour and drinks from the bartender. Overall our group was happy with the place and the food. My husband, my friend and I went here for Happy Hour yesterday. I must say that I enjoyed the experience, the prices and the food and drinks that we tried. Nice atmosphere, nice vibe. The fact that you can get specialty cocktails on the happy hour for $10 is awesome. Our bartender Chris was very knowledgeable, gave great recommendations and made our drinks very well. Came down for a concert and popped in for a bite before. Fish and Chips was outstanding. Ribs were good. Really enjoyed our server, Larry. He was friendly and attentive.
Had an amazing time at this restaurant! I couldn’t believe it wasn’t packed, it’s fairly new and truly a hidden gem. I had the jerk chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely incredible. This was our third visit to Black Jack’s near downtown Fort Lauderdale, and once again, it did not disappoint! Every time we’ve come, the food, atmosphere, and overall experience have been consistently great. This visit, however, was made even more memorable by our bartender, Ally.
