Black Jack's Rum Bar & Grill was a good find. We arrived on a cold night and it was a bit too cold to relax inside. The server was very pleasant but unable to answer several questions. I actually had to get up and walk to the bar to get a few questions about happy hour and drinks from the bartender. Overall our group was happy with the place and the food. Had an amazing time at this restaurant! I couldn’t believe it wasn’t packed, it’s fairly new and truly a hidden gem. I had the jerk chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely incredible. The location is perfect for watching football, with plenty of screens and both indoor and outdoor seating options. If you get the chance to have Larry as your server, you’re in for a real treat! My husband and I decided to try this place last night after hearing some good reviews online. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. First, the parking situation is ridiculous. There is paid parking across the street but it’s full of rocks as if they didn’t finish construction. We’ve been here twice now, and both experiences have been great. Highly recommend: Wings with pineapple sauce (the pineapple sauce is AMAZING. I even put some on the sliders and fries LOL) Sliders with a side of steak fries Ps: the wings are HUGE. Lots of meat. I think they are better than most wings! The steak fries are actually so good! A little disappointed is being nice. Ate here for the first time last week and it was amazing, but today I can't say that. Last week the front doors were broken they do not close on their own and today they are still broken on one of the coldest days since 2010. Second they have no heat on so it was freezing inside so much so that outside is warmer at 55° and in the bathroom the water in the sink feels like 30°. Which made it hard to enjoy food.
