Randy James was the 3rd person to bid on my roof. From the moment I met with Randy, I felt comfortable and informed by his knowledge of the insurance process. Every step of the way he kept me informed and was readily available to discuss any concerns I had. Randy is amazing! Quick to respond to any calls or texts. communicates clearly enough to ease buyer/seller minds, knows how to deal with demanding agents. The roof looks amazing and their clean-up was fantastic. Nothing bad to say.

Needed a small roof repair before next rain storm and a friend highly recommended Blacksmith Roofing. I spoke with Steven Ragsdale at Blacksmith and he mobilized his crew to my home within hours and they completed the repair within minutes! Steven is one of the nicest and most professional roofers I have every dealt with and his crew was just as courteous and professional. I highly recommend Blacksmith to anyone with roofing needs. We got a roof with Randy and got a lifetime warranty with Malarky Legacy Shingles. The shingles are dropping granules horribly. We filed a claim and it took a year for Malarky to come to inspect. They said their singles have a lot of granular loss and their solution was to come to reinspect as long as we have the house. What a less than expected solution. We are upset with Blacksmith because they recommended the product.

While Blacksmith personnel were very nice, they've been out to fix my roof twice, and they haven't fixed it. Period. On their second fix, I asked them multiple times to come out and QC the work because it didn't look to me like they completed their full scope of work (for instance, they quoted me for replacing a portion of shingles, but they didn't replace any, and when I asked about it, they pressed me to pay my invoice first). I've used Blacksmith twice to fix the same problem. While the workers and folks I interacted with were very nice and seemed knowledgeable, bottom line is that their work didn't fix my water intrusion problem. After two attempts and me asking them to come out and double check their work because it was less in scope than originally quoted. They assured me it would hold up and prevent further intrusion, but I'm still dealing with the same issue.
