i feel like Dr. Bourgoyne has great intentions but i also feel like a medicine guinea pig- i don’t want to spend the rest of my life swapping through pills that all sort of help me. it felt like he was always waiting for me to say more, and when i mentioned working on getting off my medication it felt like his tone and attitude changed. i don’t know how to work with a doctor that doesn’t help in guiding me through the scary world of mental illness; trying to treat something so personal and challenging. it doesn’t feel like i... read more
It’s been great thus far however i dont want to be a medicinal guinea pig if im saying im having an issue in one particular area why keep prescribing me meds for something completely different and no abs, diagnostic test or anything lose has ever been done. 3 visits three different medicines….im done going there.
I had a pretty bad experience with Dr. Bourgoyne. I felt dismissed and unimportant in our interaction. I he spat out rapid fire questions and seemed to have no interest in understanding what I was trying to express. He didn't act as though he wanted to hear me out and even interrupted me as I was speaking to get to the next question on his list.
