Dr. Welling Kristy, Aubrey, and Scott, were phenomenal. Although pain management while in the hospital was challenging. Due to short staff and continued admission, it was difficult to meet all patient's needs. Scott checked in on my progress and was thorough in explaining why and where the pain was expected. Although still recovering from clerical surgery, my trust of a positive outcome remains. Love Ogden Regional.
very good. He explained what was wrong with with nerves in my lower back. He let me decide Surgery or no Surgery. I will decide in a few days. I am old, but, still feel young. Guess i will take a chance and go for the surgery.

This was not my first visit with Dr Welling. I have had several previous back operations with orthopedic surgeons. Dr Welling performed my last one! I was very pleased with his knowledge, demeanor, and the success I had with that surgery. That is why I came back to him for my neck problems. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone with neurological problems.
Incredible surgeon and person! Had microdiscetimy L5/S1 and am just down to Tylenol less than 24 hours later. I felt immediate relief of my sciatica from ruptured disc with free floating fragment. Should have done it earlier! Thank you Dr. Welling!
Dr Welling recently performed a two level ACDF on me. He was always willing to answer questions, gave lots of information, and has helped me feel almost back to normal within 2 weeks time. That being said, it's necessary to follow his post-op directions and call with questions. I'd recommend him to anyone-he's great!
Dr Welling is an excellent neurosurgeon and really cares about his patients. He has operated on my wife and was attentive, sensitive and professional. I would recommend him to anyone needing a neurosurgeon

Went to the emergency room with the idea of getting my back looked at. But changed my mind and then I was given shot after shot and was knocked out. I just wanted to go home..Not really sure what happened to me but woke up in the recovery room and didn't get to even say anything before the surgery. But after I seen a man who didn't even come into my room saying ' took care of the bathroom problem and your back is better now' .
