A little bit about Us. Established in 1974, by Robert W. Lipscomb, DVM, Harry C. Byrd came to work in March of 1975. Both are retired now, but visit us often. Bryan Beamer has also retired. We currently have five doctors on staff. , Virginia Rushing, DVM, Laurie Miller, DVM, Beverly Young, DVM, Karen Dye, DVM, and Jennifer Narbonne, DVM . Offering Digital Imaging, Laser Therapy, Ultrasound and In House Laboratory. We also offer early morning drop off appointments.

Excellent care of my Rat Terrier for 14 years. Dr Rushing is a fabulous Vet, gentle but thorough, well versed in current procedures and treatments. Provides helpful end of life guidance as well. Exceptional office staff as well!
Very good. Dr's. Bird, Beamer and Rushing are knowledgeable, current and generally appear to love their vocation. Staff is hometown friendly, caring and professional.
Beverly young is nice and helpful.
I have used Blue Ridge Animal Hospital for years because they respond and care. My dog has seen Dr. Byrd and Dr. Miller. I truly believe in 2013 I would have lost my dog if it had not been for the attention she received and the right combination of medications prescribed. I recommend them to everyone. Pat
Best Vets ever. We have been going to Blue Ridge for over 20 years and just love them. They can be a bit more expensive than others closer to our home but they have always given our pets the best care and they are the nicest people.
