My dog had been having diarrhea and vomiting for several days over the Christmas holiday. I called my usual vet office and they couldn't get me in. One emergency office was not taking any more patients and another was an 8 hour wait. I found Blue Ridge and they told me to come on in. We have used Blue Ridge on several occasions and have always been pleased with the care--and empathy when we have had to have our pets euthanized. Fortunately, our last visit, with our old dog Duncan, was a matter of getting the right diagnosis and treatment. Many thanks to the hard-working staff.

This evening, my best lil furry friend tangled with a car. The AMAZING staff at Blue Ridge put her back together and fixed, what I was thinking, might not be fixable. I cannot say enough about the staff and their warm, postive attitude. I wish I hadn't needed their services, however, I am extremely grateful they we're there.
One of our ducks fell ill on Friday. We called multiple vets with no luck finding one that would see ducks. Blue Ridge was so friendly and caring and ensured our feathery baby would be tended to. When animals are family, it’s so nice to have a vet team that understands their importance and treats them the same way! Thank you so much!!
Everyone there is so wonderful, kind and caring. Dr. Jones stayed after her shift to see my daughter’s pet rat, Mata. She went above and beyond to help Mata.
Our dog, Dory, tried to eat a fishing lure (of all things, with her fish name) At one point the lure was stuck in her mouth and on her foot at the same time...and then in our neighbors hand and her mouth at the same time! It was a nightmare. When we decided we couldn’t get the entire lure out ourselves, Blue Ridge was the answer.
