I am quite happy with the arrangements now in place and don't feel I need anything to be changed. However I believe all carers should be reminded to wear protective gloves when preparing my breakfast and lunch.

My parents were insistent that they were managing ok without help in their home, but when dad had a catheter fitted we had social care in and then friends recommended Bluebird who took over once care ended. Sarah arranged a home visit to assess my parent's needs and I'm not embarrassed to say I cried with relief when we met her. All carers and office staff very proactive and keeping the family informed including chasing up GP where necessary. Always willing to help to get things sorted out. Carers happy to spend time with patient to give extra help where needed.

Bluebird carers have been looking after my Mum twice a day for nearly a year. They have always been caring and helpful and willing to assist with regular and, on one recent occasion, extra urgent care. The management have kept in touch and updated us if any issues arose. I would highly recommend Bluebird, Sevenoaks to anybody needing home care.

We have been using Bluebird for over a year and have been impressed by their consistency and professionalism. They are very open to assisting when any issues arise and communicate with me to ensure the best care for my mother. Having the same carers visiting each week is very reassuring for my mother. The carers help in so many practical ways but also take time to chat show an interest in pastimes that bring her pleasure. Although my mother was not keen to have help in her home at the start, the staff that came were kind and considerate and Mum soon began to actually look forward to their visits. Knowing they are checking on her gives me peace of mind and I like being able to check the logs each time they visit to know what care Mum has received from them.

Overall, my experience of the service provider (Bluebird Care) has been a very positive one. The carers are friendly and polite and do their job very well. As the client or representative is important to set out the tasks to be done as everyone's needs are different and you tell the carer on each visit and tweak the jobs to be done on a given day and will get the most out of the the service.
