I’d never bring my car to this place. I understand the service is terrible and that they are sleazy.
Dave Lyons, service dept manager, hung up the phone on me. Then when I went to see him he proceeded to intimidate me in a closed office. He is a terrible manager. I’ll never give them my business again.
My issue is with Dave Lyons, their service dept manager. I have had a dead engine in my 2013 7 series BMW. The car was at DR for 3 weeks. I finally called Dave Lyons to get help with my matter. After 2 minutes, he had enough of me and then hung up the phone! That was it for me. I went to get my car from the dealership. It was then that I met Dave Lyons. After buying a bmw the excitement kicks in. I did not purchase my vehicle from this dealership but my used 550i was serviced at this dealership. After the check engine light has come on many times it was concluded that it is a cylinder 3 misfire. Looking into the service records, it was in the dealership for a recall on the exact same cylinder that is not good anymore and needs a new cylinder head due to the tech putting in the wrong screws to hold the head in. D&R BMW put a 2013 Interlagos Blue E92 M3 for sale, on that day I emailed and there was an exchange of phone calls, asked for pictures and a build sheet and was told they'll provide it as soon as they get it back from detail. Made an appointment for the car for saturday. Friday morning rolls around and I emailed again to check up, still no pictures or any info, but said the appointment is still on. I love my BMW. Every time I go there, it's $1,000, then it's $3,000 for something to get fixed . Seems like it's always something. If you spend that kind of money on a car, you should have that many problems.
I was out on the lot before 6 PM and no one came out to help me so I finally walked in myself before 6 and was told they were closed. Looks like you just lost a sale.
They are the only dealership in Indianapolis :( Depending on who you work with in Servicing the service and price gauging can be awful. Hoping to find a good independent BMW repair shop.
I'm wondering who it is you call at D & R when you've had a negative experience at one of their dealerships. I can't seem to find a customer satisfaction department.
