I usually get my pets Rxs from 1800petmeds. The last time I had to bring my dog in in order for them to refill a prescription she had been on for 6 years they said they would price match 2 bottles for me. Great! I'd rather buy it from them anyways. But today I sent my husband in to pick up what I paid $36 for last time and they charged him $50! Hello Stephanie, we apologize that this was not clearly communicated. Once it was brought to our attention about the price match, we refunded the difference to your husband. In regards to the previous refill, Missouri state law requires us to have seen the pet within 12 months to fill a prescription medication. The request came through in November of 2016 and we hadn’t seen your pet since March of 2013. Worst experience ever. Don't ever go here. Most unethical vet I've ever been too. Paid extra for local anesthesia and then had to listen to my dog cry bloodymurder in the back room for over 5 minutes. They obviously didn't give him anything. Other people in the office commented to me on how horrific the sound was and how terrible it was they they didn't give him anything for the pain. I just found out that they are under new ownership and are pushing for their vets to do unnecessary things to animals when they come in with an issue so they can charge more money. I have noticed the past few times I have gone that they are charging outrageous amounts. I finally found where Dr.Clapper went and thats where I will be going. My family has been bringing our pets here for 20 years and we will no longer be going back. Shame on bogey hills for trying to take advantage of their loyal customers.
