We had gone to a restaurant down the street that shall remain nameless and decided it wasn't for us. Bond 45 had a table open so we thought we'd try it. From the cocktails dessert, everything was superb. I had the Rockfish which can be tricky and was perfect. My friend had the seafood dish and was thrilled to find two perfectly made crab cakes. Bond 45 was the perfect restaurant to take my girlfriend for her 28th birthday. She really enjoyed the many options for Italian food and also the ambience was very quaint. The cookies for dessert were a nice surprise!
This was our second visit to Bond 45 and once again the food, service and experience was excellent. Open Table was extremely helpful in allowing us to secure a reservation before a 7pm show at the nearby MGM theatre. Our servers were extremely knowledgeable and courteous and the assistant manager John Edward was also extremely hospitable. My husband tried the Bronzini with roasted vegetables and potatoes. It was excellent. I loved the gnocchi and ginger smash cocktail. We look forward to a future visit.
We had a good time at Bond 45. It is definitely below the “fine” restaurants in the area, but still prefer Bond over the other chain restaurants in National Harbor. Food was good overall, steaks were best, but the seafood was only fair. Not many desserts on the menu either. Service was friendly, and professional. Great place for a date night without the kids. We’ll be back.
Bond 45 was very accommodating because we switched the reservation once 40 minutes before the original time. Atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. Drinks and wine selection was actually what we wanted. Service was on point and they were always willing to give advice and help us if we had a question.
We were pleasantly surprised by our first experience at Bond 45, it was exceptional. The service was phenomenal. The attention to detail, to getting our order right the first time, to the temperature and taste of the food, fabulous. We highly recommend Bond 45 and plan to return in the near future.
Then we walked into Bond 45 on Valentine's Day I was struck by the interesting architectural details combined with it's almost anything goes framed art. (some very classic-some kitschy). Food was good. Did not like how close the tables were. The drink I got Bond Cup sounded good and fruity and looked great but was just vodka. No fruity taste.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service. The entire staff (manger, host, wait staff) make it an amazing experience every time!
