Everything was good, but not great. It’s the first time we went to an Italian restaurant where there wasn’t a yummy breadbasket served. Instead, just a single tasteless roll brought to the table long after our salad arrived. Wedge salads are usually a large serving and we share it. Overall a good experience but a friendlier hostess would have been appreciated. No smile.
National Harbor, MD Location - Saw pictures online of white tablecloths and a nice dining room. When we arrived, there was no hostess so we had to wait to be greeted and then they sat us in the bar area and we didn't see a dining room. It wasn't until after we were done eating that we realized there was a dining room behind the bar. You couldn't see it from the entrance and where they sat us. Dined for the first time the first night of our honeymoon. Had a fantastic night!
Restaurant music was loud as were the other guests. Had a corner spot in couch like bench seating to put my little guy in with his electronic device, which after our car trip with extra traffic was a nice thing. My Mom & I enjoyed our Scampi (with a touch of red sauce in the angel hair) Hubby thought his steak was excellent. Dad enjoyed his rigatoni with sausage.
The waiter was nice but too busy. For instance were we waiting for something to drink and it was served when we had eaten our meals.
We arrived and we were told we had to wait 1:45 hs for a table. We left and looked for another place and checked through Open Table whT was available close by. It was this same restaurant witha table available in 10 min!!! The receptionist did not have the best atittude when we came back. Another issue with another person that did Not want to bring more lime. Our waiter was good and made us feel better the rest of the meal
8 of us went there for Xmas lunch. The food & service were excellent. Highly recommended for either small or large parties. Heard no complaints from anyone regarding food or drink.
