The potatoes soup really good. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana and it was delicious! I also had a side of shrimp that was tasty as well. Even though we had reservations, it was a while before we were seated. In fact no one was there to check us in. When we were sat the server did tell us that they were very short staffed. The server was out of breath taking our orders as he was running from table to table. Other than that it was a good night.
This is our go to spot, close to our home.
Overall experience was good. The handmade mozzarella was amazing. The portions for dinner were too much and not well thought out. Ordered the $39 veal parmigiana and a 12" round pounded out meat steak covered in cheese came out. No side with it, just a giant meat pizza on a plate. A side of simple spaghetti added another $8. We celebrated Christmas Eve by having a family dinner at Bond 45 and had and wonderful dinner. This was our 2nd dinner at Bond 45 and both of our dinners were excellent. The inside dining room was nicely decorated and not too loud. The outside balcony makes for a beautiful evening during nice weather. We had wide selection of meals including steak, fish and chicken parmigiano. Every bite was delicious. The sides were also wonderful as was desert. I highly recommend Bond 45 for special occasions or juse a night out.

Well were there to celebrate the holidays. We were seated in a private room with a few other tables. We were able to enjoy each others company, had a nice view and we were very pleased with our dinner options. We had steak with lobster and crabmeat. Also red velvet cake for dessert. Everything was very good.
Could have been great but they didn't have decaf cappuccino and the decaf coffee came out cold and bitter. Must have been sitting around since lunch time. Otherwise service and food were both very good.
We went there Christmas day and had a fantastic experience. The wait staff was fantastic and the food was outstanding. My wife and I were amazed at the quality of the food.
My wife and I have made Bond 45 our traditional Christmas Eve dinner occasion for 4 years now. The service is outstanding and the food is great. Getting a seat by the window gives you a great view of National Harbor, the Potomac River, people and the Ferris wheel all lit up. Hope to spend many more Christmas Eves there.
