We've had dinner here a couple of times and the food is always great. I don't know if it was a bad night or what, but the delay between courses was exceptionally long. Thank goodness we didn't have the kids.
Steaks were better than seafood but all in all a great place to eat in a very scenic location. I would definitely go back
Although the star system will not allow me to rate bond 45 as any less than "do not recall" ( 4 star)loud it was insanely loud. There was outdoor music playing which was nice but it was so loud we could not hear each other speak at our own table. The service was lovely, the bread delicious, but the meal itself was sub par at best.
We celebrated a friend's birthday here. From start to finish, it was a fabulous experience! Great table. Great service(thanks Roger!). And great food!
It was a bit late on a Saturday night, and the harbor area was busy. My wife and I wanted a nice place for dinner so we decided on Bond 45 since they had a 10 pm reservation available. When we arrived and indicated we had a reservation, we were seated almost immediately, even before some other folks who had been waiting without reservations. We had a great anniversary dinner. Great food, nice atmosphere, but very expensive. My wife and I enjoyed our dinner, but I do not know that it was worth the cost. That is the only reason it doen't have 5 stars in my opinion.
Recently dined here with my spouse & had the porterhouse & ribeye - both were melt-in-your mouth perfectly cooked & seasoned. The creamed broccoli rabe was scrumptious. We were first seated on an enclosed patio near the kitchen. It killed the whole ambience to constantly hear the kitchen noise. From the service, to the food preparation and flavor, it was a wonderful dining experience for my wife, my mom, and myself. My mom is visiting from Seattle, so for her it was an unexpected treat. She had the crab steak, which she'd not heard of before - and loved; while my wife and I had the lobster - shelled and served without the shell - how nice! Everything was outstanding from waiter attentiveness to quality of the food. We had the fried shrimp and calamari for appetizer and perfectly cooked Porterhouse and New York strip steaks for the main courses. Shared a side of polenta, which was very good, but a bit heavy on the cheese for my wife's taste. On a different note, it was very nice to sit and enjoy our dinner in a quiet environment and talk.
