Amazing food was phenomenal our waiter was cool didn’t bother us food came out in quickly and drinks were amazing

We had a terrific meal at Bond 45 on Friday. We were seated immediately - but the table was near a large group that was really loud. The hostess moved us to the enclosed patio without hesitation. The enclosed patio was warm - there appears to only be a through-the-wall air conditioner to serve the entire room. The table closest to the air conditioner was cold (the A/C is mounted at floor level right next to their table), so they requested to turn it down - which made the room even warmer. Our experience was so memorable from the moment we met the person at the front desk - champagne for our special event, intimate water view seating, amazing service by Maya/Mia, fantastic food, special things done for us and Assistant General Manager John Edward ensuring we were so spoiled. We were a group of 6 celebrating a birthday. I specified the birthday in my on-line Open Table reservation. I also requested a table with a window view. The view was fantastic. The vibe in the restaurant was energetic and loud. The food was lovely. The waiter had the personality of a wet noodle. He shared absolutely no information about the menu, the specials, the wines. I went to Bond 45, expecting to eat lunch. However, they were still serving brunch. The brunch buffet menu was EXCELLENT, especially the shrimp and grits!!
The place is beautiful and the food was good. We had a bad waiter. After our salad came quickly, we waited nearly an hour for our dinner. After 40 minutes we asked and got a shrug. Then asked again and was told it was the kitchens fault. He took no personal responsibility. We ended up getting our food (mine lukewarm) which was good but had such a bad taste from the service.
