The restaurant was recommended to us by friends, and they were right on. We had a quick pre-theater dinner of lasagna and salad which was great. The service was excellent too. The location was one block from the theater as well.
Was visiting NYC for my daughter & niece’s 13th birthdays. We had just seen Wicked & were looking for a nice place for dinner. Food was great, low lighting made it a bit fancy and it was small & intimate.

We are there before attending the theatre. The waitress was mindful of our time constraint. The service was excellent and the spaghetti carbonara was to die for! Second time here, not disappointed at all.
Pro staff in the back and front, will get you out if you need, will let you stay if you like. Creative with old-school menu standards. Wide variety of seating settings, upstairs & downstairs. Plus... location-location-location.
Chose this restaurant because it was across the street from the theater we were attending that evening. I was with my two daughters and son in law. We chose the antipasto to begin. Selection for the large serving was good but rather small. My son in law and I ordered the bacon burgers. burgers ordered medium were as hard as a rock. One daughter had steak which was quite good. Second daughter had poached eggs which were overdone. Service was excellent. Drinks were good.
I’m a vegetarian and I was in heaven! Lots of great choices and all were delicious.
The food, the service and ambiance were all excellent, and the waiter was a delight. Thank you!
This place deserves even more than 5 stars. We were late due to NY traffic, they politely called to confirm we were still coming. When we arrived about 20mins late our table was waiting for us. The ambiance of the restaurant is really attractive and inviting. The upstairs and downstairs are spacious for NY. Even had a downstairs bar area with a small lounge section.
