Pre theater. Food and service great for a huge restaurant.

Outstanding choice. Had not been to Bond 45 since they relocated to 46th street. Same great food, smaller restaurant. The noise level is slightly better than in the old location but still quite noisy. Would definitely return. The food is absolutely delicious. A lot of choices; hard to decide what to eat.

Eaten there a number of times. Was surprised by poor service on Sunday evening. I had also requested a substitution in a fish plate due to shrimp allergy. Basically got a dull, overcooked piece of salmon with unseasoned asparagus. Assumed it was an off night, but returned for a pre-theatre dinner with friends on Tuesday. The food was very good and we would have enjoyed it more if we had more than 20 minutes to eat our entrees and catch our curtain due to poor service - again. Rethinking earlier opinion of a great place in th... read more

Did not realize this place was in the theatre district and once I did (few hours before the reservation time) Immediately became skeptical! However to my surprise it wasn’t that bad. The food was actually pretty solid! We dined around 8 and it wasn’t too busy at all but our food took forever to come out. I feel my fries were sitting for a while, not too long but long enough to notice. I got the truffle burger with truffle cheese and was not disappointed at all by the amount of truffle I got especially for the price, a bit su... read more

Had a lovely lunch there on a Saturday before a matinee Broadway play. Food was great and the staff was very friendly and professional. It was quite busy and very noisy, but the meal was delicious. We had a salmon entree and a chicken entree. Portions of most menu items were huge. Breakfast is a specialty here and is served all day. It is better to share items ordered if you can't take leftovers home. Desserts were large also. We had chocolate mousse which was fantastic! Other diners had positive comments about their meals. ... read more

Good place for lunch. Solid Italian, salads. Also has vegetarian options as well! The portions are very large, quality is good, service is friendly. It is a very large restaurant and tends to be a bit busy around show times. The menu is very large so they do have something for everyone! A little pricey, but that is expected in the theater area. Would not say it is a must dine destination, but if you are in the area and in the mood for solid Italian by all means pay a visit!

The ambiance is pretty decent with the background wall having a painting of old time actors and actresses. I ordered the homemade tordelli ravioli bolognese. It was savory, rich and delicious but a little too salty. If it was a little less salt, it would have been near perfect. Service was mediocre, our waiter didn't check on us, fill our water or anything. In fact, it was the busser (Indian dude?) who was the one who was friendly and filled up our cups. Overall, I would give this place a shot again but I am not racing to go... read more
