Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

We loved it. Terrific breakfast with delicious food. Pancakes were phenomenal, my Bella Benedict with prosciutto was fantastic, and my wife's yogurt breakfast was very nice. Presentation was superior. It was very crowded when we got there, and having a reservation through Open Table helped a lot. Can't wait to go there again!
Our reservation was for 5;30 and we arrived at 4;30, we were still seated righ away. We explained we had already been to the theatre and were not in a rush. Seat at a lovely cozy corner table, we were able to sit leisurely for a long time between drinks, appetizers and then our meal. It was a lovely experience !
To be blunt, I thought it was just going to be a tourist trap - in the heart of Times Square with a huge neon sign out front, c'mon. However, the six of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves before we went to the Christmas Spectacular show on a Friday night. If you want Italian food in the Theatre district which makes it a great location before seeing a production, its great. Food was very good but too expensive for what we had.
I love this place. The food is excellent, the service is fantastic. I have eaten here several times (both pre theater, and also after a matinee). The food even during a very busy holiday week when the place was absolutely PACKED was STILL excellent, and the service was STILL outstanding. Best Bloody Mary in NYC (made with real horseradish, not an institutional mix), and great brunch menu. Both of the Eggs Benedict choices are prepared perfectly, and just the right portion size--not too much, and not too little. We went for Christmas dinner and had a wonderful experience. There were 5 of us in our party and we had just arrived in town for a holiday weekend. We were promptly seated and our server was helpful at making suggestions. The Lasagna was delicious (even cold the next day), as were the Veal and Chicken Pepperoni Parm and Fillet Mignon.
