It was restaurant week in New York so the $35 three course meal was a great bargain. The 21 vegetable minestrone was chock full of veggies and very tasty. The steak was perfect medium rare and the chocolate moose was light and airy with a matching tennis ball serving of whipped cream. We will return again even if it's not restaurant week!
We ate at Bond 45 during restaurant week and were extremely pleased with the vegetarian options. Our favorite was the three vegetable antipasto. The zucchini parmigiana and the eggplant caponato were fabulous. We also enjoyed the whole wheat artichoke couscous, grilled asparagus and broccoli rabe and would definitely choose the vegetable antipasto on a return visit. I have been to this restaurant before and this time brought a couple of friends. We had a pleasant experience and the food was good but it seems they cut the portion size from the last time I was there a few months ago and raised there prices.
Food and service were good/average, but way overpriced for the quality
Always good food, pre theater service is fast. Chocolate mousse not to be missed
Good food, good service and got us to the theater on time.
Everything we had was delicious the chocolate mousse and whip cream was to die for so save space for that even if you have to take part of your entire home. When two or more have the moose the waitress brought it out in a bucket!! That was the best!!
Relatively expensive but for a festive evening after theater it was just what the doctor ordered. Big on meat, but great classic Italian style appetizers and pasta.
Service was very slow at the beginning, better later. A steak was ordered "medium well", and care was taken when the order was placed to be sure the diner and the waiter were on the same page as to what "medium well" means. The steak arrived closer to rare than medium rare. They took it back and brought one that was properly cooked, but with the attendant inconvenience of one diner sitting there while the others were eating.
