We met another couple for dinner at Boulder Creek for our anniversary. They were busy but a reservation through OpenTable got us a table within minutes of our arrival. We shared a shrimp cocktail appetizer that was excellent, followed by dinner salads that were fresh and well-portioned. My wife enjoyed a half-rack of ribs (with extra sauce, recommended) while I enjoyed a combo meal with a filet and fried shrimp. Both meals were excellent as usual. Wasn’t worth the price we paid for meals. Starter bread is meh. Spinach and artichoke dip is not traditional and meh. Risotto is bland. The filet was wonderful, but everything I had was seasoned to heavily. Our waitress was pretty rude at first, talked with the manager and she did turn it around. The food wasn’t all that worth the price and noise level high.
