Top notch vet care Boulevard has taken excellent care of my various dogs over the last 20 years and I have never been disappointed. They are very conscientious, experienced, kind to the pets and people, honest, and stay on the cutting edge of new medical developments. Their prices are lower than most, they are price- conscious about your budget, and the medical care my dogs have received is exceptional. They have pulled my dogs through a bad car accident, a genetic deformity, a back problem, and finally gave palliative care ... read more
Good vet (been through basic stuff), GREAT groomer! The vets are good (I can't say too much b/c thank goodness I haven't been through anything traumatic - just the usual checkups and shots). However, the groomer there, Nancy, is spectatular. She is kind, very good with the dogs and I would never take my little shihtzu to anyone else!
Vet's knowledge saved my cat's life I have taken my cats to Blvd Animal Hospital for six years. In early September my oldest cat was completely unable to walk and had lost sense of balance. I took her in and with great treatment and care almost two months later she is back to normal. We really thought we were going to loose her, but the doctor at Blvd. saved her life. The doctor called with updates and took quite a bit of time explaining what was going on with her medically. The staff is very patient and courteous. \r
Best Veterinary facility in Wake County. It is my opinion that Boulevard Animal Hospital is the best veterinary facility in the county. I have been a client for over 19 years and my pets have included a ferret and 4 dogs. The care that all of my pets have received has been superior. The first two dogs that were cared for at Boulevard lived 16 years! The staff is well grounded, working off of the experience of ""veteran"" veterinarians while cycling through young ""rising stars"", many from the NCSU Vet school. Some own their... read more
Excellent care, reasonable prices Our 3 cats have received excellent care at Boulevard and the prices are much lower than nearby veternarians. I feel it's my duty as an animal lover to warn everyone that I had exactly the opposite experience at Oberlin. Boulevard has a caring staff, can often get pets in on short notice, and are extremely patient with pet owner education. I can't recommend them highly enough. Pros + Exellent care, caring staff, low prices Cons - Not as "fancy" as other hospitals
Best Dr. Dr. Allen at Boulevard Animal Hospital is simply wonderful - no other word for it. In the 1960's when Dr. Allen was at Boulevard, he care for our family pet. I was only a young girl at that time and he was so kind and caring. As an adult, I got a puppy for our daughter and was so glad when Dr. Allen cared for Delilah on her first 10 week visit. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Allen. Pros + Everything
My dog has been a patient/client at Boulevard for the last 10 years (her whole life). The boarding is extremely clean and the staff is just wonderful. I suggest NCSU grad find another place to go next time. I am truly pleased with Delilah's care at Boulevard
THIS PLACE IS ALL ABOUT MONEY AND NOT ABOUT THE WELFARE OF THE DOG I took my dog to this place when it broke its leg and they charged me $530 for xray and to apply a splint with an ace bandage....no cast ,took ten minutes to xray and 10 minutes to apply splint and they charged that much... 2 weeks later splint came off ,mind you i have a chorkie which is a very small dog. Called the vet to see if they would rewrap the splint ,which would only take 3 min. They...
