Steak Out It is so nice to have a steak house back on the south side that has been missing since the demise of Steaksmith. The Bourbon Grill at El Gancho fills the bill. Our foursome had prime rib and filets and we left full and content. Well priced, good service, excellent cocktails, a bottle of wine and a freshened up interior...

Good Value The restaurant has been updated from the prior establishment. They have similar items as to the old Steaksmith (steak, seafood and combinations). They seem to have brightened up the place. Ordered the prime rib, which was cooked perfect. We also had the sirloin, it was cooked perfectly (medium rare), however it had a bit too much char for my taste....

Great food and service We ate at the Bourbon Grill in late October after it first opened. The service was great. We had salmon, lamb chops, and prime rib. The staff made sure everything was fine, and we will definitely eat there again. Tonight, in fact.

Stake was cold and not cooked medium as ordered. We were never ask what we wanted to drank so we had the water we received on arival. Poor service!

Could be great, just needs to tighten up We had been to the bar several times for drinks and appetizers and decided to try the restaurant. It was not busy and we were seated right away. The menu offers many beef and seafood options and the restaurant has specials every day of the week that are on the menu but are a reduced price on that certain day....

Bland, not well prepared Visited the Burbon Grill on July 4th for Lunch. Juan our server did an excellent job. Very pleasant person. I ordered the Sirloin tips and a side of the green chile macaroni and cheese. The meat was tender, the mushrooms were in desperate need of salt, butter and wine.
