I would use ANY other HVAC company but Brackett. I made the mistake of letting Brackett install a full system in my attic (not simple, but feasible) and they made a royal mess of it. In fact, I feel like I was cheated. Go with Derr.
We've been doing business with this company for a few years and bought an a/c unit last year. Scheduled a service in July, paid upfront as this was a second home and first time service for this home. In October my husband received a call from Carla stating we had a past due bill and had received several statements. Up to the time she called we had not received any statements. Terrible experience this week with two of their employees. Very disappointing. I definitely do not recommend.
RecommendedI had a furnace and AC installed 22 years ago by Brackett’s, recently we had a home inspection done due to selling our house and the inspector called out an issue with circuit breaker. I called and talked to Bryce and he sent a technician out to change it out the same day. That is the kind of service you can expect out of Brackett’s. RecommendedJanuary 19th the iced roads, the snow and the extremely cold weather our Aunt Norma Taylor’s furnace had quit. We made a couple of calls asking for help this was like at 8:00 pm. Headed to our Aunts house to just plan on bringing her to our home. Bryce Brackett came had her up and running by 10:00 and said they would be back on Sunday to replace her thermostat. Each time I have called them out for an issue on my unit, which is under warranty, I have to call them out a second time a week later for the same issue. They also charge a $65 warranty processing fee that is NOT required by Lennox. I have verified that with Lennox. I have also verified that 2 other major heating and air companies in Evansville have never heard of a warranty processing fee and do not charge for repairs on units still under warranty.
