My experience with Dr. Creel in the office was good. He was caring and seemed concerned. However, when I began taking a new medication and needed advice, I had great difficulty getting him to communicate with me. I had to make several calls to get his advice on my new medication and switch back to my previous. I had to wait and be without the correct medication for over a week. His MA was prompt and courteous in trying to help me resolve this issue.
Dr. Creel is an amazing doctor and probably the best doctor that I have ever been treated by. His bed side manners is what any patient would like to experience. His patience, compassion and care for his patients are a simple reflection of how much he loves his profession. I strongly recommend Dr Creel.
Very Friendly and radiates a peaceful atmosphere. Listened well to my concerns and assured me afterwards that he had done the procedure as I expected. Let's face it nobody likes a colonoscopy but of the five i have had so far he gave me the most comfortable procedure. His staff was very friendly and loving.
This doctor is horrible in my opinion, he diagnoses wrong and puts you on meds knowing you could not afford them. Worst doctor ever.
While I will give Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates' Doctors (Dr. Creel) a high mark, I will never go there again. Their front desk staff (at 550 Peachtree) is worthless and rude and their billing department even worse. They charged me a $500 deposit/copay before they would do my procedure and now my insurance has paid 100%. Very unprofessional and no compassion would not even answer any of our questions because we already had another doctor involved. We had to wait for 3 months to get in to see doctor Creel so we had already scheduled an appointment with a local doctor. We had to wait for 2.5 hours in the office. Dont know about doctor as his nasty assistant must of given doctor a wrong number to call and they claimed no one could get through, didnt care about my situation as I waited two weeks for this appointment and need clearance for a surgery, was impressed by doctors credentials but wasted my time I could of seen someone else and Im still sitting here suffering now, I called phone company, nothing wrong with my phone, staff refused to give me the appointment that day they messed up. Dr Creel was not helpful to me when I met with him on a follow up visit. Went to ER with diverticulitis. Dr creek spoke to me in a degrading fashion. The info he had was old (2 years), and told me to look up CT scan, that was done in ER the week before , took to long to down load. I would never go back to such disrespect. Not sure what happened, if it was just me? Or my insurance that he brought up, that he didn’t like. Feel sorry for his patients that may not know better. Hope he reads this too
In the past six months, I have visited Dr. Creel four times. During my last visit in Dec. 2016, Dr. Creel barely examined me and he did not write me a prescription at that time. He advised me to contact him for a prescription if the issue reoccurred. You guessed it, the issue resurfaced; I made contact with his office several times and I still do not have the medication I need. Wish I could write more important details---out of characters. Dr. Creel benefited from that appt by charging my insur.
