TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long. THE JOURNEY After 6 months of running the pop-up with long lines, the team took the plunge and opene... read more

Chicken was tender and the breading was good. The bun was also tasty. That said, it wasn’t as flavorful as I’d have hoped. I got the heat level at “hot” and barely tasted anything. Fries were good. Mac and cheese was flavorful but it seemed to be made with their chipotle mayo.
The good part my experience starts with the service. It was amazing honestly they served me fast. The girl on the register was super nice and friendly. Only waited for a like 5 minutes. The fries were really good nice and fresh. Now to the bad part. The trash cans were all filled and overflowing. The food tasted bland and honestly didn’t look appealing. I got the mild and no spice. the no spice looked bad. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but it just wasn’t good. Also got the Mac and cheese felt like they didn’t ... read more
Play some pretty cool for being no here in the area. Definitely kind of busy and buzzing. Do you have to order ahead of time that way you don't have to wait. But other than that the food was amazing. Definitely coming back to take some more pictures of their dishes.
We recently visited Dave’s Hot Chicken to see what all the buzz was about, and it did not disappoint! The General Manager, Lonnie (hope I spelled that right!), and the team were incredibly welcoming. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and Lonnie even took the time to check in with each table, which was a nice touch. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, with the drink station regularly attended to. The lively atmosphere and steady flow of diverse customers added to the experience. The food was delicious and ser... read more
This spot just opened a few weeks ago and finally got a chance to stop in and try it! I love spicy so I always try the hottest level. I ordered one Extra Spicy slider with fries, a single Reaper tender, and had to try the mac n cheese. The chicken in the slider was juicy and spice level was perfect for me. The Reaper tender was just a little dry which made it harder to eat with the spice coating. I did like that the tender came with a slice of bread. The Mac n cheese was good, nothing special. Half a step above your standard... read more
