Great functionality, annoying noise. This multi-function printer has good and bad points. Just as other reviewers reported, it has fan noise while it's awake. Not just a blowing noise, but more like the fan blade is buzzing against something, which is annoying in a quiet room. This is the one thing that might keep me from recommending this printer. Great machine and cheap to operate Great printer and copier for the money. I love the toner and don't have to worry about cartridges drying out all of the time.

Great, versatile, and a penny-wise, pound-foolish best buy! Overwhelmingly happy with this unit, folks! I stupidly bought a couple of "cheap" printers for home, including color models, but the ink dried out and didn't last, and even using cheap replacements (I did try using expensive OEM replacements as well, so the drying out was not directly related to buying cheap replacement cartridges) it was expensive fast with a toddler printing out things from the internet all day.
