Proudly occupying the space of the former Greyhound Depot, BRU Burger Bar Evansville is the fifth BRU location for Cunningham Restaurant Group. Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

I ordered a salad with grilled shrimp and dressing on the side (I know, right, at a burger bar!). The salad arrived with dressing already on the it and a grilled chicken breast on top. I told the waitress, and she apologized and took the salad back to the kitchen. She brought the same salad back (still with dressing on it, sans chicken breast) and said the shrimp would be right out. The shrimp had been heated in the microwave and not grilled. Great place to eat once you get in. Love the atmosphere in the old bus station. Parking is horrible. I drove around and around for at least 10 minutes looking for a spot. Our waitress was great. I told her I'd had the "melt your face off" burger at another Bru Burger and it wasn't hot at all. She said she'd talk to the cook and it came out nice and spicy...although I still have my face. I'll be back but not at noon on a week day.
Good food, service, great bar, nice wine list, noise level was on the high side.
Amazing service and food! Everything we ordered came quickly and was perfectly cooked a prepared! The atmosphere is AMAZING!!! Will definitely be back!! One of my favorite restaurants now!!
Our first visit on December 21st with another couple. Enjoyed the Bourbon Burger and can't wait to try more selections from the large number of choices. The onion rings and fruit are good side options. The downstairs seating can be noisy.
We had the Bru burger and the jam and carmelized onions make this amazing! The whole experience was very enjoyable. Great place & I love it in the old Greyhound Bus Depot.
