Refreshing surprise Just in town for a couple of days, and was looking for something not too fancy, but not the usual "chain bistro" fare. OpenTable came up with a listing for Bru Burger Bar, and the reviews seemed very good, except for one or two. I have no idea where those couple of less-than-favorable reviews originated. Consistent Food I took some out of town friends here for lunch. They enjoyed the food and I tried something new: the Roma Burger with Chicken. Delicious! We ate inside which is nothing special. However, they have a patio for alfresco dining which is nice to have in Lexington.
Consistent food great beer selection Interesting burger selection, great wings and wonderful bar menu make for a fun evening.

Food Truck Feel/Restaurant Experience Bru Burger does such a great job with burgers, from a classic all-American cheeseburger to burgers with more exotic ingredients and combinations. In this respect, it reminds you of a good food truck, where they're always trying out new toppings and unique tastes. Loved that you could try two separate toppings with their "snack" burgers...which were HUGE! Server was a bit over chatty but extremely helpful during our first time there and very nice.
Great as always We always enjoy Bru Burger. Once again, the service was outstanding. The food is always great and such reasonable portions. So many places now have portions that are too big, so we like the al la carte style. My husband also enjoyed the 6th street tap takeover and trying a couple of the brews he had never had. The staff recognize us now because we come in so much! Thanks for another wonderful dinner.
