They messed up my FRONT tooth permanently. January I initially went in to get my permanent retainer that’s behind my teeth re-cemented on my front tooth which came loose multiple times between June-January. I had the process done about 4 times so I know how it goes, on this day I was assigned to a dentist I had never seen before and I left with my FRONT tooth shaved down from behind and the bottom, giving me an uneven VERY noticeable appearance. I have a dentist phobia due to bad early life experiences so I avoid the dentist when possible. However, went here due to a tooth emergency and they made me feel better than I would have ever imagined. Not only were they thorough in their assessment but also explain step by step the procedure and my options. I plan to make this my dentist of choice moving forward and actually plan to start going more often, aside from emergencies. Dr. Johnson, is the best dentist I have ever had. Highly recommend this place and Dr. Johnson.
I had an amazing experience with Dr. Johnson at Bucktown Wicker Park Dental. I came in with an old fixed/permanent retainer that had popped off halfway. It had been in my mouth since I got my braces off as a teenager. Dr. Johnson carefully removed it and all the old glue. He fitted me for a new removable retainer also. The whole process was seamless. Everyone was great to be around and Dr. Johnson was a pro. He’s cute too!
Saw Dr. Johnson and he is a new addition to this practice. He is absolutely amazing! Very sweet, explained me the procedure well and just pleasant to be around. I have anxiety going to the dentist but he made me feel very comfortable. If you go there ask to be seen by him. Thank you Dr. Johnson!!!!
Super rude staff. I was filling out my new client paperwork in-office, prior to my appointment, and I was being verbally attacked for not having it filled out ahead of time. This was all before my appointment and they were so rude. Do not go to this dentist, they do not know how to speak to paying customers. There are five other dentists nearby and all seem more professional.
