Cervical fusion 8/20 before I couldn’t move from my shoulders to finger tips . present date after surgery my feeling ,strength,are coming back. I make progress everyday. I am happy to be able move again.
Cervical fusion by Dr Lewis was done on my neck. I was in extreme pain before my surgery. After Dr Lewis did surgery I did so much better. It took a few weeks but his office took very good care of me. Doing great now and felling so much better.
I had lumbar surgery on 9/10/20. Before surgery I was having back pain into the leg. After surgery I am doing great now and am able to go back to work and start my normal activities . Thank you Dr.Lewis and staff for all you have done I would recommend you to everyone.
Cervical fusion; prior to surgery, left arm was consistently numb and I suffered almost daily migraines. Since surgery, I have not has a significant migraine and my numbness is greatly reduced. Dr. Lewis was available and very helpful. Two weeks out and I’m on the mend.
Before surgery I had had three fusions in my lumbar spine. three was still numbness ln my left leg and foot and pain in my lower back. This surgery went very well! I had the old rods and screws removed from previous fusions and had the l4 to s1 fused. Immediately after this last surgery I had feeling in my left foot! There has not been any pain in the lower back since the surgery. Still a bout f pain when I over do, but I am thrilled with my recovery. I expect to be back to 100% by next year, if not sooner!
I had lumbar fusion surgery on 9/21/2020 by Dr.Lewis, prior to the surgery I was in constant pain every day since my injury occurred. Now I’m feeling much better no more back pain and I can actually say I feel so much more comfortable and better. Dr.Lewis is the best and the reason for my pain being relieved
I had lumbar surgery with Dr Lewis on Sept 14 2020. My symptoms were constant back pain numbness and weakness.in my lower back and both legs . The quality of my life was poor and working and was become impossible. Had the surgery and starting from day one was able to get up and now 8 days later other than the pain from recover from surgery I can get up and walk and the pain and numbness is gone! May 26,2019 I was hospitalized for a brain bleed,at the time I was 31yrs.old. I was put in the icu at S.Buffalo Mercy hospital. I had surgery a few days later. Dr.Lewis was my surgeon.Dr.Lewis saved my life. I had a craniotomy and also had brain tissue removed. I received excellent care from Dr.Lewis and his staff. Ed Vargo came in daily to check on me . I was in the hospital for two months.I have the utmost respect and admiration for Dr.Lewis and his team at Buffalo Neurosurgery.
