I had lumbar surgery with Dr Lewis on Sept 14 2020. My symptoms were constant back pain numbness and weakness.in my lower back and both legs . The quality of my life was poor and working and was become impossible. Had the surgery and starting from day one was able to get up and now 8 days later other than the pain from recover from surgery I can get up and walk and the pain and numbness is gone! May 26,2019 I was hospitalized for a brain bleed,at the time I was 31yrs.old. I was put in the icu at S.Buffalo Mercy hospital. I had surgery a few days later. Dr.Lewis was my surgeon.Dr.Lewis saved my life. I had a craniotomy and also had brain tissue removed. I received excellent care from Dr.Lewis and his staff. Ed Vargo came in daily to check on me . I was in the hospital for two months.I have the utmost respect and admiration for Dr.Lewis and his team at Buffalo Neurosurgery.
Pleasant and quick very nice staff
I had lumbar fusion surgery on August 20th. Before surgery I had numbness in my back I couldn’t get comfortable no matter what I did. After surgery I feel excellent . Just a little nerve pain in my leg .Dr.Lewis did a great job and I feel great now. Would highly recommend him to anyone who needs surgery.
Everyone was so professional and caring through the whole experience. I recommend your office to everyone weither the have a surgeon or is looking for one. You make me feel trusting with your care. The team in the office as well as the hospital is awesome, and that help with the healing process. I have had C 3 - C 7 surgery on June 30;2020 . Prior to surgery I had quite a bit of weakness in both arms. I also had a tightening of my upper arms that progressively lasted longer as time went on. It started out to last a short time and only in one arm then increased. On my right shoulder I would get a sharp pain that would last a while and massaging it did not help at all. Neck surgery lots of pain in neck and shoulders loss of range of motion and headaches before surgery. Just slight discomfort in neck after surgery but full range of motion. Doctor Lewis and his team are Awesome.

On 6-3-2018 l fell off scaffolding I felt electricity shooting down my back legs. I was rushed to emergency rm at that time er Doctor sent me to a surgeon yes I did a lumbar surgery graft also that didn’t help me at all so I went back to work as of May I was sent to be seen by Jeffrey Lewis .in my mind I thought here we go agin same ole ole.doctor after doctor .
