Great place to dine if attending a show at Lincoln Center. Tables are very very close together so you hear your neighbor's conversations. It actually diminishes the dining experience as you have no privacy. The food was very good; however, it is a busy place prior to showtime. I found it rather pricey considering you were sitting practically in your neighbor's lap for dinner. I would prefer to try it when I could dine outside and avoid the chaos inside this busy local neighborhood find.
Thids is a wonderful place for brunch before the opera matinee! Give yourself time to enjoy the basket of fresh breads, good strong coffee and roasted vegetables.
I like Fiorella's but it was quite noisy when we walked in so my friend and I left. Thank yoiu
Good quality Italian food, excellent antipasto appetizers. Before curtain times at Lincoln Center, service suffers but if you know what to expect. it's all good.
We arrived an hour late for our 5:30p reservation; they still seated us, but it was near the entrance on a cold windy night; upon request we were moved, but by the time we ordered it was 7:15p and we had 8p theater tickets, so only ordered the quickest soup from the menu. It was good of them to accomodate us upon the late arrival, but it was not an enjoyable meal, despite the fact that the food seemed appetizing.
As always, the food was outstanding. The drawback to this restaurant is how close together the tables are. It can be uncomfortable.
It's great to go in summer and sit outside--even though it's on a busy street, hey, it's NYC. In the winter, just sit inside. There's an antipasto bar if the tables are crowded. It's convenient to Lincoln center. Don't miss out on the homemade mozzarellas!
The food was good, especially the artichokes a la giudea with lemon! The service was excellent....we had a short time frame as we were headed to the ballet and they served us quickly and professionally. Would certainly recommend it to other Lincoln Center headed diners.
The food is always wonderful here!
