Despite their claims, the gluten free offerings were very limited and disappointing. Portions were small for the price. Though I didn't order it, the pizzas looked great.
Quality of food is excellent. Not an extensive menu -- select dishes that are perfected in their preparation.
Brought out-of-town relatives there before attending the opera at Lincoln Center. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Some of the dishes were: arugula & carmelized pear salad, roasted beets, the crab cake special, maltagliati w/eggplant parmesan, lamb pappardelle, and veal chop parmigiana (the veal was hanging over the plate and is enough to share). The strawberry blonde cheesecake with the warm chocolate sauce for dessert was devine. Make reservations if you have show/opera tickets or you won't get in.
It's 11:55pm and you've just spent a long night at the opera. 5 hours, no food. Where can you get a good meal at this hour? Just cross the street, Fiorello's is open & ready for you. It's not cheap, but otherwise I don't think you can go wrong here. Their thin crust pizza is tricky to negotiate, you can't pick up slices too easily & may have to use your knife & fork, but it's worth every bite. And the fried artichoke is one of the best dishes to be had anywhere.
Staff is wonderful. We were late due to traffic and needed to be served in a hurry so that we could attend the Big Apple Circus. They catered to our needs and served us an aray of delcious foods (Great antipasto, soups, pizza)quickly and with a smile. We were also pleased to see that they include our favorite organic wine on their wine list. Great restaurant in the Lincoln Center area.
Good for pre- theatre in Lincoln Center area
This is one of our favorite restaurants of all time. We've been here several times before signing up with Open Table, so we have a lot of experiences to draw from.
Great pre-theater dining across from Lincoln Center
My friends and I took advantage of a warm November day and had lunch outside at Cafe Fiorello. We had reservations but got there early and were seated immediately. The waitress and support staff were attentive and helpful. Drinks and food can be a bit pricey (especially drinks), but the food was great. We totally enjoyed our experience there and I recommend it highly.
