This was the third time had been here over a number of years. We had the sunday brunch. The food was very good. The steak and eggs were excellent. The service however was slow. The restaurant was very busy with a constant flow of new customers. Fortunately we were not in a hurry, but our entree order took nearly 25 minutes, other tables that arrived after us got their foood before we did. Had a great table and the noise level was good for conversation. Atmosphere pleasing. I had an omelette and was slightly disappointed in the flavor, which was bland. Portions very healthy. Muffins and breads very good.
Service was excellent and since it was Fashion Week they had a $35 value three course meal. Highly recommend the vegetable antipasto appetizer. It was a generous portion of well prepared Italian regional specialities with vegetables.
Reliable Lincoln Center restaurant
Love this restaurant.. every time I'm in NYC I have to go there. Excellent Italian dishes.. especially the seafood medley risotto. I feel like I'm back in Italy
Easy acces across from Lincoln Center, service was great! Food is traditional, portions generous, good for sharing.
The restaurant is very convenient -- directly across from Lincoln Center. Seems to be a neighborhood landmark, and you can have minor celebrity sightings. We went on a Saturday night, and it was very busy. We showed up early for our reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. Love the vegetable anipasti and continually return for that. Always buzzing. Fun restaurant although overpriced.
Great pre-theatre, food & service were excellent. Will be back.
