Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

Very romantic setting. This was our first indoor dining experience since COVID began, and it was a great way to re-enter that world! The veal milanese (small portion!) came with a salad and was more than enough; it was also cooked just right. Our waiter was friendly and told us stories of when the restaurant was the after-performance scene for Lincoln Center. And the ambiance - with booths and lights - was lovely.
Cafe Fiorello is one of NYC’s go-to’s for Italian fare. I’ve yet to try something on the menu that wasn’t great: the pizza, lasagna, meatballs, garlic bread are all delicious, as are the desserts. Great service and attentive waiting staff. CF is a great destination for a post-theater date or just everyday dining.
We made a reservation for inside, after reading that nyc restaurants are open at 25% capacity. Upon arrival, none of the 4 of us were comfortable sitting inside...the place was packed!!! It just seems impossible that they are only 25% of capacity. Outside was pretty and the heaters sufficed. Food and wine were excellent, just as we remembered.
I highly recommend Cafe Fiorello. From the moment you enter the restaurant you feel at home and welcomed. The food is Amazing!! The staff and service is what you should expect each time you eat out. They are attentive to your every need. You will never be disappointed eating at Cafe Fiorello!
The fried calamari was excellent. Our entrees, Dover sole and veal Milanese, were well-prepared promptly brought to table. Our server, Cleber, was attentive and friendly. All in all an excellent meal!
Lovely ambiance, wonderful food. Somewhat absentminded service.
Fantastic food - I went for brunch and it was outstanding! Get the avocado toast and the shortrib pizza - you will not be disappointed. The wine is top notch. Great servers and service as well. We sat outside and they had adequate heat.
We were celebrating the joint birthdays of my son and grandson. We had a nice round table located inside. The food as always, was fine with generous portions. I was able to get my favorite desert, chocolate mousse with whipped cream. It was a nice experience after months of not being able to eat inside a restaurant. Hopefully this will soon become the norm.
We were given the option to choose where we want to sit inside. The food was still really good and the holiday wine was excellent. They accommodated my request for a simple birthday surprise for my friend. I would definitely go back to celebrate another event.
