Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

Let me point out it is a beautiful restaurant and at 5:45 it was packed! We were seated right away at a great table and after a short wait were served bread and choice of stilled or sparkling water. Drinks ordered were served immediately and then things went downhill. We ordered the short ribs meatballs as an appetizer and while they were very good, they were cold when they reached the table. Same with our pasta dishes, which were cold and dry. As our waiter was no where to be found we snagged a passing bus boy and asked him... read more
Very crowded a noisy, but still enjoyable. Service good.food food Lovely experience.
Maybe the holiday season is NOT the time to go to Fiorello. It was VERY loud, service a bit slow although the waiter was attentive. The prosciutto of burrata and prosciutto was dried out, the burrata was perfect .. as was my guest’s pasta with burrata and tomato sauce. It feels to hectic and noisy, crowded and frantic.
I booked a pre-opera dinner with friends due to proximity to Lincoln Center. The food was delicious, and a reasonable value for NYC. The service was absolutely perfect. The room is noisy, as is the case in almost every newer NY restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. I've eaten there many times before, and plan to return.
Good after theatre stop for pizzas, salad, pasta or chicken milanese. Pleasant host, but wait staff service is spotty and absent, but the bus staff saves the day!
Awesome food awesome service very quick. Calamari was amazingggggggggggg veal pepperoni was great so was the lasagna ! Great spot we went to see the nutcracker after right across the street from Lincoln. They took us in early and got us out early. Great family place. Beautiful decor.
For the most part, the dining experience was favorable. However, I ordered the standard portion of dover sole and it was grossly overcooked. I thought to send it back but we were scheduled for a theater appointment and did not want to wait for a replacement portion given that the restaurant was getting quite busy. In retrospect, I should have, given that it was the center of my dining experience for that evening. In addition, it was a modest portion (I wonder what the petit version was like!) My wife saw the portion and offe... read more
We are always happy eating at Cafe Fiorello’s, great food & friendly service! Our guests loved their meal!
A night at the Opera starting with an Italian dinner nearby. But the service was haphazard at best. Appetizer for one of our group came right away. Then we waited and waited while our waiter chatted with other customers who sent one entree back. Three of four entrees came but the fourth took a while more to arrive. Overall not a great experience.
