Excellence from start to finish. The manager was accommodating on our arrival, the waiter was superb and full service, the experience was total. It was a pleasure meeting with an Ambassador to the US from a foreign nation who also served in Japan. Classic New York. Unreservedly recommend.
The food was phenomenal and the service impeccable. We had a wonderful time!
Usually the service there is excellent, but not this time. Waiter kept promising to appear and never did except to collect check, and then only after we started to leave. The maitre d’ saved the day by pitching in to take our order, but it was unnecessarily stressful.
The service was great, very attentive busing. Ample time between courses. The ceasar salad was excellent. I had the veal cutlet parmesan, my wife had the chicken parmesan vodka sauce. The sauces were excellent and the homemade mozzarella was the best we ever tasted. The only minus was my wife's dinner came out almost cold while mine was nice and hot. We had the bucket of mousse for dessert which was excellent and the capachino was good too. We will definitely return in the future.

The entire experience at Café Fiorello, from the moment walking into the door to the end when we were leaving was absolutely incredible! The staff could not have been any nicer and attentive and the food was out of this world. We were also treated to a special batch of cookies that made their way around the restaurant. I would recommend Café Fiorello to anyone visiting the city looking for a wonderful meal!
I really have mixed feeling on our meal here. The food is delicious I’ll give you that. But I feel for the prices charged the service needs to improve greatly. We had reservations but yet we were squeezed into a corner against the wall. Disappointed that the lobster pizza is no longer offered. Next time I’m at Lincoln Square area I’ll walk a few blocks away to be able to enjoy a meal in a place where the service, ambiance and food match the cost. Such a shame because Cafe Fiorello has a great history.
