Broiled branzino, large enough for two, was perfect. Restaurant was packed but service was timely, wait staff friendly. I love this restaurant.
Still a good place for dinner after the opera but we missed the flat breads!!!!

Had the lasagna which is what they are known for. Humongous and delicious. We've learned to share it for the two of us and still had some leftovers.

We’ve eaten there many times over the years. They seem to have added many more tables in the same space. We were seated before our official reservation time. Check. We set a record for ordering, food arrival, drinks, eating and paying in about an hour. Surprised. Staff was kind and professional as always.
Fantastic highly recommend! The food was yummy and the ambience great! As a native new yorker i highly recommend, but it is expensive. You are paying for location though!
I go to this restaurant often because I like the ambience and location. However last night the food wasn't up to par but it may have been because we're in the middle of a holiday and perhaps the regular chef wasn't on duty. The expensive pasta was soggy and tasteless. I also seem to run into the same issue here when I'm with another woman. They always want to sit us in the very back until I complain. Would this happen to two men dining out? The wait staff is lovely and attentive.
