Great location across the street from Lincoln Center. Old world ambiance in tight quarters. Packed in like sardines. Tables so close one could literally touch elbows. Quite noisy. Couldn’t hear conversations lower than a shout. Food was okay, but nothing amazing. Veal parm was good (sides, including pasta, sold separately). Veal Milanese was dry and close to inedible. Nothing extraordinary as far as food fare is concerned, and no bargain on the bottom line (though definitely on par with other Manhattan restaurants). Lots of ... read more

Went there before matinee of My Fair Lady at Lincoln Center. It was my first time at the restaurant & it surpassed my expectations. My friend & I each had the prix fixe pasta lunch for $22.95. The food was delicious & the portions were generous. The service was prompt and courteous. We will be back!

Luckily for me, I live nearby and go to Cafe FIorello often. Why? It's the best go-to place before or after the movies, performances at Lincoln Center or Jazz at Lincoln Center. The food is fantastic...casual chic. Large portions you can easily share. Fried artichokes, bufalo mozzarella with prosciutto, paper thin pizza, open faced lasagna. You could throw a dart at the menu and anything it lands on is worth ordering. As you can tell, I'm a fan.

Fun and lively. They did an excellent job of getting our party of six served and on our way for an 8 pm curtain at Lincoln Center. We enjoyed our server and his team and the extra desert for a birthday was much appreciated also! Pastas were el dente, sauces excellent (pesto and Bolognese) seared tuna was perfect and rare, branzino was lovely and manicotti was smooth and rich. Excellent experience!

Cafe Fiorello has been a favorite dining spot for many years for me, mostly for its convenience to Lincoln Center. Last Saturday's experience after a matinee at the Met was no exception. The food was marvelous, but there was confusion and a delay in service. After being seated we waited 30 minutes and still did not have a waiter take our order. Shift change? Maybe, but no excuse. I will still go back and just chalk this up to a little glitch.

Lovely pre-theatre option...very close to Lincoln Center. Seated immediately with reservation. Service quick enough without being pushy or rushed. Prosciutto and burrata excellent. Petite Dover sole well prepared and not too much to enjoy fully.

Enjoyed a very nice meal before the opera at Lincoln Center. Service was good given the number of tables occupied for pre-theater. The lasagna was very good and easily enough for two people. Drinks good as well. Would definitely dine there again.

We had a ball at Café Fiorello. Our waiter was so much fun to interact with. The food was very good, especially my rigatoni ala vodka!
