Best Greek food I have had in this country. Everything was superb, no, amazing. We stay in the city a few times a year. This will become one of the very few restaurants I will break my rule on new experiences and repeat.

Primarily a pre-theater spot for those attending shows at Lincoln Center (e.g. NYC Ballet or Metropolitan Opera). For this, the location (right across from the Lincoln Center fountain) and service (they remind you when it's 20 to curtain, check prepared) are ideal. Food is alright (supposedly was better in the past?) and a decent wine/spirits selection.

Cafe Fiorello has been around forever, with good reason. It's a nice place in a great Lincoln Center location, you can have a relaxing meal or sit at the bar, and the service is very good. The food is delicious. Favorites are the lasagna and the antipasto bar. On my most recent visit I felt that the choices for the antipasto bar were not as numerous or interesting as usual. I'm hoping that it was just an off night and not a "new normal." Six vegetables from the antipasto bar has been my favorite pre opera dinner for years.

Cafe Fiorello is a known favorite. Perfect for a dinner before the opera or a ballet, or simply dinner. Pasta and pizza dishes are outstanding and the rest of the menu doesn't disappoint either.

This is the 5thtime we ate at Cafe Fiorellos. We were disappointed with our dinner. Usually it is delicious, but our food came completely unseasoned. I don't know what happened this time.

Made reservation well in advance so was quite disappointed to be shoved in a tiny/back cave on top of others. Waiter was pleasant but not attentive. Never asked if we wanted anything to drink besides a glass of water. Free brunch cocktail not offered or received. When I finally asked for coffee I had to remind him twice to bring it. The food was excellent but if I'm paying 62 dollars for 2 omelettes & 4 mini muffins, I expect a much higher level of service.

Our experience was perfect. Even though we arrived a bit early, we were seated promptly (it was way too cold to stay outside!). Since we had plenty of time to leave for our show, we ate a very leisurely dinner. As always, the breadbasket was filled with tasty flatbreads and bread. The arugala salada with pears and goat cheese was a perfect combination of flavors. We ordered the green spinach pasta with bechemel topped with cheese; while it was tasty, it was a bit too rich, so we only made it through half the serving. We orde... read more
