We discovered the Fiorello special open face lasagna about a year ago. Have loved it ever since and introduced it to many of my friends. Our waiter was just delightful. My friend told him it was my birthday, but when I declined dessert, he brought me a brownie from the front with a candle in it.
Enjoyed brunch immensely. And the Bloody Mary really had vodka in it! Basket of fresh muffins and pastry delicious.
Michael Vitanza provided excellent service. He paid special attention to our every need.
Lunch for girls' day out and couldn't ask for more! Outdoor table; great food and wine and excellent service! Have eaten there before for both lunch and dinner and it is always excellent!
Our waiter was very informative and attentive..the open face lasagna is fabulous..the pick 3 or 6 vegetable, meat, or fish lunch additions also were very appealing. Order the cheese cake for dessert!!!
On our trips to Midtown we always enjoy Café Fiorellos. Food is consistent, place has a great buzz and the prices are ok New York.
We always stop at Café Forello when in NYC. It rarely disappoints. The lobster Carbonara was outstanding. The salad bar is always a treat. The ravioli unfortunately was undercooked and not really edible. Service is always attentive and friendly.
I visit NYC at least once a year and this restaurant is always on my list of "musts". Best liver and onions anywhere.
I found that this restaurant was very overpriced considering the food that you get. The portions were an average size but the quality of the food wasn't very impressive. I'd have expected to be blown away for a main course that was more than 30 dollars (32 dollars for a lasagne which is what I chose). I don't mind paying more than normal for something that's worth the money but I'm afraid I don't think this was. The service was great though - polite and efficient staff.
