Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

We recently had a wonderful dinner here and can't praise the staff enough. The two managers welcomed our motley crew (two wheelchairs and all) with open arms. They made sure that two members of the party had choices even with food allergies. This is a true New York restaurant - lively, crowded, loud and FUN! Relax and have a "operatini" and you will quickly melt into the scene and enjoy every morsel of antipasta and flat bread pizzas. We are always willing to pay a bit more to come here and enjoy the great service and atmosp... read more
I noted that this restaurant offered gluten free pasta, unusual for an Italian place. While not extensive, there were gluten-free options which were delicious.
We found a semi-quiet table but it wasn't easy. We were near the kitchen. Come back for the lasagna and of course proximately to LC.
Very conveient to Lincoln Center. They handled the large pre-theater crowd well. Our table was jammed in a corner and we could have esaten food off the neighboring table. Our table was very wobbly and telling the first two people that came to our table did no good. When we told our server that we could not order until the table was fixrd, he directed a bus boy to fix the table. With the improved, but not totally steady, tabale the rest of the meal went well I was not thrilled with my veal marsala, but this was just a matter ... read more
Perfect for pre- and post opera
This restaurant is always VERY crowded before an event, but they do amazingly well for their throngs of diners.
I really like the atmosphere & decor of Cafe Fiorello. The food is consistently very good, as is the service. The antipasto bar is my favorite.
Much improved over the years, now a worthy destination pre-Lincoln Center event, as opposed being the place one went when everywhere else in walking distance to L.C. was booked.
Went for lunch on a Monday. Had the tuna nicoise salad. Four thinly sliced pieces of tuna over baby arugala. Bland dressing. One piece of asparagus. Thankfully the wait staff was great. Given a side of crisp green beans on the side which were tasty and perfect. The bread is tastier than the salad. Not sure why? Shrimp salad same thing. Bland. If I ever do go back I'll try the pizza.
