Brought my parents here for lunch after their arrival into town to get them some good Italian food (hard to find in the South!). It's an expensive bowl of pasta, but it sure is tasty; and, I think it's smart to come for lunch. It's not nearly so busy or loud. I loved my super thin crust pizza, too. We love it and go back every chance we get.
Great for pre-performance dining. Excellent food and service in an unpretentious setting.
Food was unique and all dishes ordered werte delicious. Service was outstinding.
Food presentation (antipasto, shrimp & scallops, osso bucco) was better than the taste, and osso bucco should have some marrow, no? But no real complaints. On the other hand, the wines were very pricey for the quality. Not as good as we had hoped for the $$$.
Nice place to dine before a concert!
Great for dinner before Lincoln center, Fiorello often is a noisy, rush you along experience. But his time we ate at the bar which was fun and great entertainment. Still a bit noisy with customers pushing up behind to make their antipasti selections.
Their traditional, large thin pizza was suddenly transformed into a small pizza for the same price. I asked the maitre d and was told it is a seasonal change and many complained.
Looks like our favorite dining establishment before Lincoln Center performances has lost its edge. Cannot pinpoint it, but not the same friendly Italian bistro of old. Seems almost corporate. For certain prices are way up..........menu says you cannot order "famous thin crust pizza" before 8 pm, drinks overpriced and the three vegetable option is now served on portion controlled plates.
