Very popular New York Italian restaurant. Especially busy on opera nights. Food was quick to come to table, well presented and quite good.
Great meal and very friendly, efficient and accurate service. Highly recommend for traditional Italian.

Today the service was non existent ! The waiter was very sweet but apparently stressed because the health department was visiting and our table got no attention. No one checked us between courses; long wait to get drinks, bread never came first with our cocktails but late in the meal ; guests wanted wine with meal but practically finished lunch before anyone came to take an order for wine ; no service in sight ! The prices at Cafe Fiorello have become absurd. Their signature dish, the lasagna now costs $49.00!!! There is no way that a few lasagna noodles, two meatballs, some cheese and sauce should cost $49.00. This may have been our last visit to Cafe Fiorello. There are too many restaurants in Manhattan with great food that do not gouge their patrons.
