Great Tiki getaway! Nothing! We really enjoyed our stay at Caliente Tropics it’s great value for money compared to other local hotels. The location is a short drive from the centre, plenty of free parking at the hotel. The rooms are dated but exceptionally clean - everything you could want in there. The only issue we had was with the safe but reception couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. Pool is great too surrounded by lovely gardens. Great little restaurant. Excellent ! We did a roadtrip on the west coast via Palm Spring and Caliente Tropics: this accommodation was by far the best (and also the cheapest!) The pool is nice, the hotel has its own small restaurant and bar. The hotel is original.
Enjoyed the facility and it is perfect if your bring yor pet, so dog friendly. The Reef restaurant is located right in Music at the pool. I’d prefer to hear 60s, 70s, 80s, etc, The tropic vibe, and pet friendly.
