“Great hotel in a tropical setting” Great hotel, super clean, convenient location. This was our fourth stay. Reef, the restaurant on the property, has the best coconut shrimp.
“The hotel was a nice rest on a very difficult journey, a good time was had by all.” It was a party hotel and a bit on the noisy side. One weekend evening it got particularly rowdy. The next morning when we went out to our car it was obvious that someone had gotten sick all over the back of our car. A car wash fixed the problem quickly. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially Sabrina who went out of her way to help us whenever possible. Good They have to figure out the towel situation. You have to "check out" towels from the lobby which is inconvenient. They told us they charge us for towels by room and only allow one towel per person. The bathroom at the pool is not allowed for guests. There should be a separate facility for people using the pool. Ambiance was nice. Drinks are the bar were good.
“Great value” The lights above the sink were way too bright: eight intense shining bulbs in your face is a little too much haha. I also missed a toilet brush... Bathroom was small. Lovely pool with lots of cool floaties to play with, nice room with comfy bed. Great view from the shower, very nice staff.
Pleasant When arriving nice desk reception but absolutely no info about onsite restaurants or amenities! Silly question, there where no croissants as the hotel didn't serve breakfast. Strange as they had two restaurants on site. Poor! There are a number of eateries near by. Elmer serves very good breakfast 10 % Discount showing card from Caliente tropics.
